The Life and Business Collective
Because life still happens while you're growing and running a business
Have you ever felt (or maybe still do) lost in your business?
I have owned my business for almost 10 years and at many points have felt lost but for different reasons.
- Did I need business coaching?
- Or a mastermind?
Those didn't always make sense because I found myself having the knowledge of what to do but not always doing it.
So maybe I needed
- An accountability group
I couldn't really find one that worked for me and I tried to do it with a few friends but that wasn't cutting it.
Then I thought, well, life outside of business feels a little wild so maybe I need
- Therapy
- Behavior Coaching
But what about....
- A networking group
- A co-working space
Nothing really ever felt right.
And while all of those have their specific purposes, I couldn't seem to find a place where I could get pieces of all of those things.
So I created it.
Welcome to The Life and Business Collective
HI! I'm Lindsey. I have been the owner of Lindsey Heiserman Coaching for almost 10 years. Prior to that I grew and sustained a thriving personal training business at a corporate gym.
While I was growing that business, I realized how important mental and emotional health was in addition to physical health.
I got my masters degree in counseling and psychotherapy with an additional professional life coaching certification.
My mission is to integrate mental, emotional and physical health together. I struggle with all of these and I know other business owners do too.
The goal of the collective is to bring life coaching to business owners because our lives operate differently than those with a traditional job. We are constantly worried about business, thinking about business and wondering/pondering what's next. We are the owners, creators and magic makes of our business and life also still happens at the same time.
The collective is a space to grow, work and connect with other business owners.
Listen to the episode from my podcast "Mind Muscle and Movement" to hear the back story of my business and also how and why I started the Life and Business Collective.
GROW
Each month there will be a live interactive coaching workshop focused on a topic that will help you grow as a human and a business owner. In my experience, these are the missing conversations and topics we need to be having.
WORK
Have you ever sat down to work "on" your business and suddenly were distracted by the laundry, the kids, the dog, needing a walk, lunch or got distracted?
Each month we will have a co-working session so you can come, check in with your group, share your task and then get to work.
CONNECT
In my experience as a business owner, I struggled with setting goals and tasks because I didn't tell them to anyone and wasn't as accountable to myself.
Each month we will have an accountability check in where we will share what we have been working on and what's coming up.
One of the goals of the Collective is for you to take what you need and leave the rest. Some months you may really lean into co-working to get your tasks done and at other times, that could be less important.
I would love to have you at every meeting, but I also know that our lives are different month to month and week to week. The program is designed for you to have the meetings assist and support you when you need it most.
The quick facts:
- Weekly Activities/Group Meetings
-
- Week 1 - Prep Work via worksheet or short podcast to help you get thinking about the topic of the month
-
- Week 2 - LIVE coaching workshop on the topic of the month
-
- Week 3 - Co-Working Session
-
- Week 4 - Accountability/Check In Session

What People Are Saying About the Collective
One more thing before you go
"It’s like this workshop has made me really start to live in the moment and notice things around me that maybe I don’t like or want to change instead of just going with them because that’s all I have been used to .
Not thinking before that I could or should change the things that just don’t feel right. So now when I am in a situation that I don’t like I use the things learned in the workshop to say something different or do something different so I can change things."
