- What would I do without it?
- Could I still run my business?
- Would I miss out on opportunities and connections?
- What about ALL the stuff I needed to see?
- Isn't this where everybody does business?
These were just a few of the questions that swirled my brain for months on end when I considered leaving Instagram (at least for awhile).
I argued back with myself and said that I needed IG for business purposes- that's how you're SUPPOSED to do business.
In fact it was Kourtney's blog post about her experience when she deleted all SM that pushed me over the edge to at least give it a period of time.
I knew in my heart that I was wasting time on social media (specifically IG) and calling it work when in fact - it was distracting at best and really brought on so much comparison-itis.
My experience after a month??
Let's just say - I haven't gone back yet and it's February 4th.
Tune in to this week's episode to hear about my experiences in both life and business without IG and other social media.
I tell my clients every day - you get to do life and business by YOUR rules. And there is no "one right way" to do it.
That applies to IG and business. That is not (and will never be) the only one way to do business.
Speaking of doing business on your own terms - there are some people out there doing some cringe-worthy and harmful things. Check out my latest blog and LinkedIn post where I discuss the correlation of high ticket sales and diet culture. Read and share that post HERE.
