Interview with Lisa Reichelt – Champion Your Parenting

Lisa Reichelt, a parent coach with Champion Your Parenting and I have a fantastic conversation (about way more than parenting!)

Even if you are not a parent, you have still been parented. I heard this on a podcast once and it resonated with me. I shared it with Lisa when we started the podcast. This podcast is full of valuable nuggets for you to implement into almost any relationships in your life.

Lisa and I talked about choices being intentional when you are a parent and honestly, it's the same in any relationship.

How do you implement intention in your life?

Are you making decisions intentionally?

I help people with this in all areas of life - mental, emotional, health, work, etc so why would parenting be any different?

Enjoy this fun and beneficial conversation with Lisa.

In this episode with Lisa, we discuss:

  • Lisa and I talk about her professional and personal experience that led her to becoming a parent coach.
  • What she saw as an educator and how it informed her coaching practice
  • She shared some of her personal stories with her children and family
  • The importance of instilling values in your family
  • Connecting with your adult children
  • And so much more
Mind Muscle and Movement Podcast - Interview with Lisa Reichelt - Parent Coach

About Lisa:

Hi, I’m Lisa Reichelt, mom, grandma and former educator turned Parent Coach. For over 30 years, I’ve actively supported families.

It all started when I became a teacher, spending 12 years in the classroom. While juggling five kids and working full-time, I pursued advanced degrees in education and leadership.

Eventually, I became a principal, leading to more rewarding years of working with families. During that time I mentored couples just starting their families and counseled many parents. Seeing kids struggle in school and with relationships, while their parents lacked support, sparked an idea. I want to help these parents! “Champion Your Parenting” was born.

I believe supporting parents directly helps their kids thrive. My experience and knowledge became a bridge to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children. It’s the most important job you’ll ever love.
