Group Life Coaching 2024

Winter Session (February 6th - March 26) - "(re)Discover You"

Have you ever looked in the mirror and said "who is that?" You don't recognize your look, yourself, your eyes or frankly anything about yourself?

You try to remember who you were several years ago and now you're convinced you're having memory issues because it's not coming back to you?

 

So then you ask yourself questions like:

  • What do I like to do for fun?
  • What would my ideal day look like?
  • What do I want to do with my life?

And you end up staring at yourself with a blank look and no answers.

In the "(re)Discover You" group coaching course we are going to take a look back through your life, assess where you're at now and create a life you actually want to live going forward.

One where you can confidently wake up and know you're on the right path. 

A life where you like what you're doing and it feels true to who you are deep down.

A life where even with all the things required of you day to day, the relationships, the job, the kids, etc - you know your purpose and your way forward.

Most importantly, through this course, you will get to know yourself again and in a new way.

 

We can never go backwards and become the exact same person we were before, but we can learn from history, understand how we got to where we are now and create a future with intention.

 

This group coaching course will require you to be open and honest with yourself and others. (you are never required to share in a call unless you want to).

In all of my client work, we talk about intentionality and living with intention. (re)discovering yourself is a very purposeful endeavor no matter where you are in your life.

Spring Session (April 23- June 11) "Thriving During Life Transitions"

Transitions in life either come because we expect them such as a graduation, a retirement, a job change, etc. But they can also come as a total surprise - an unexpected death, a layoff, a move to a new city and so on.

 

And then there are the transitions that creep up on you. You know your kids are going to college but once they do, you are overcome with a flood of emotions that you did not expect.

Or you are overjoyed to retire only to realize you have absolutely no idea what's next.

You reach middle age and look around and don't recognize your partner or your relationship.

Your parents are getting older, aging, becoming ill and or dying. You knew it was coming, but you were so ill prepared for the process.

This course will help you to identify and process your emotions around your current life transition and those that are likely to come up. Being intentional and proactive can raise your emotional intelligence and resilience so you can withstand the transitions.

Summer Session (July 9-August 27) - "Body Image, Self Worth and Comparison"

If I'm being honest (which is my word of the year for 2024) this is the course I am the most excited to teach.

I have struggled my entire life with my body image, my self worth and comparison. I have spent most of my young childhood, teenage years and adulthood feeling inadequate and trapped by my body and what I wanted/thought it should look like.

It took a toll on my confidence, my actions, my eating habits and so much more.

Then there came a point where I realized I was using my body as the control mechanism for the rest of my life. Meaning, when I was nervous about something, I would try to control my eating or I would work out more. If I was anxious, I would tell myself I had to follow a certain diet. And so on.

It's been a wild ride. A journey.

 

I know I'm not alone.

 

I talk to clients all day, every day about their bodies in some way. It's not just young people either. Clients in their 60's and up are still struggling with their attachment to their body and their weight.

In this course, we are going to go deep. Deep into our thought patterns, shame, guilt, past experiences and so much more in order to unwind our interconnected thoughts and behaviors.

The goal is to work towards becoming more in tune with our body. Not that we have to love it but we do need to listen to it.

Fall Session (September 17- November 5th) "Creating and Implementing True Self Care and Boundaries"

When you think of self care do you automatically think of a vacation, a bubble bath or a spa day? That's what we have been sold as self care. When in reality, self care consists of setting and keeping boundaries, understanding your life capacity, keeping promises to yourself and so much more.

This course was born from one of the workshops I taught in the Life Adventure Collective and it was a huge hit. Self care is a hot topic that goes deep. Most of our burn out and resentment is because we feel empty and not take care of.

We often don't ask for what we need, but instead support others with their needs. Or we run ourselves ragged trying to keep up with everything while neglecting our own care.

This course will help you create your own "Self Care Toolbox" full of personalized ways to have self care in your life. It will teach you about what boundaries really are and how to create and enforce them.

 

True self care is actually challenging because you have to know yourself, create a plan and then DO the plan. Even when life gets life-y.
